DESCRIPTION:When: This Saturday\, June 13\, 2026\, 1:00pm to 5:00pm \nWhere: Christ the Lord Lutheran Church\, 1001 Duluth Hwy\, Lawrenceville\, GA 30043 \nWhat: Our monthly meetings run from 1pm to 5pm. Club President Earl Baugh will preside over this month’s meeting. Normally club business is called to order at 2 pm and then adjourns an hour or so later. All attendees are asked to arrive early and to stay later to help set up and take down tables and chairs. And don’t forget to bring your name badge so that newcomers can identify our seasoned members. If you don’t have a name badge\, please get with the club secretary\, Bill Blackburn\, while at the meeting. \nWho: Anyone who is a past\, current\, or future member of the AHCS is welcome to attend! \nCLUB BUSINESS:\nWELCOME TO NEW MEMBERS/ATTENDEES: Please be sure to extend a greeting to anyone at the meeting you don’t know to make them feel welcome; wearing your name badge helps 🙂\nOTHER CLUB BUSINESS: We will discuss continuing plans for VCFSE 13.0 to be held July 31-2\, 2027=6.\nDUES FOR 2026: As always\, we will continue to collect yearly dues from all members and potential members whom haven’t yet paid. Annual rate is $20.\n \nPRESENTATIONS:\nIf any member or attendee would like to provide a brief presentation (15-20 minutes) at a future meeting about a vintage computer/subject that you are passionate about\, simply let either Club President Earl Baugh or Bill Blackburn know so that your presentation can be added to the agenda. A projector for PowerPoint presentations is also available; just let Earl know ahead of time so that he can bring it. \nSHOW AND TELL:\nDon’t forget to bring your vintage or retro computer projects so that you can utilize the technical and historical expertise our club members freely offer\, as well as to show off what you have! \nFREE TABLES:\n \nClub members and attendees are encouraged to bring any old computer/electronic hardware or software\, working or not\, that they no longer want/need for placement on the Free Tables. And any items that anyone wants to offer at a reasonable price to any attendees are also welcome. We do ask that all members and attendees refrain from browsing the Free Tables while club business is being conducted. \nPlease plan to attend this important meeting. DESCRIPTION:Our fifth year of partnership with SFGE!\n\n(there are Braves games this weekend\, so be sure to plan enough time to find parking\, or get here early)\n\nThe Marriott Renaissance Waverly\n2450 Galleria Pkwy\, Atlanta\, GA 30339\n(770) 953-4500\n\n\nWhat:\n\nSpeakers –– Come hear first-hand accounts of events in computer history and informative technical presentations.  We have again attracted some very interesting speakers this year! \n\nRegistration is NOW OPEN \n\nExhibits (and exhibit registration) — Exhibits are presented Friday\, Saturday and Sunday.   You’ll find computers from the 60’s\, 70’s\, 80’s and 90’s.  From PDPs to Commodores to Apples… Exhibits vary from pristine original machines\, to painstakingly restored machines and others focus on unique modern hacks.  You’ll find a wide variety of things to look at\, touch and some to play with. \n\nNOTE:  We still have a total limit on tables — we will have to confirm on any registration of more than 2 tables.   Also we’re giving registration preference to those to pre-pay for tables.   Contact the site contact listed below to pre-pay. \n\nHands On Activities  — We offer a chance to let your inner engineer out\, even if it’s for the first time!  We will continue to give you a chance to purchase and solder your own electronic device.   We have kits available for purchase (we have helpers and everyone should be able to participate\, from complete beginner to those already handy with a soldering iron). \n\nConsignment — We offer a consignment area as part of our show.   We’ll try our best to sell your vintage computer related items.  Please remember this isn’t a flea market. \n\nVendors — We invite folks who might have items that would be of interest to our audience to exhibit at our show as well. Vendors are listed on Exhibits page. \n\nConcessions — We offer a concession area where you can get various item for sale\, including Festival T-Shirts (and some from previous years) along with some other computer related items. \n\nFor whom: \n\nEveryone! Computer geeks\, families/children\, STEM students\, students\, collectors\, IT professionals\, curious onlookers… \n\nWe continue to be co-located with the Southern Fried Gaming Expo (who are sponsoring our space!). It’s the same room as last year\, the entrance is next to registration.\nThe Southern-Fried Gaming Expo features more than 300 arcade\, pinball and console machines\, tabletop\, RPG\, wrestling\, music\, tournaments\, a vendor expo\, exciting programs and guest speakers\, and so much more.
