The 13th annual Vintage Computer Festival Midwest / Emergency Chicagoland Commodore Convention 2018 just finished up. Many of our members were able to attend and have a great time. At an onsite auction, one of our members purchased a blue “Adam” computer terminal.

Yahoo Groups has proved to be unreliable in recent months, sometimes delaying group emails for months. Therefore, we sent out a poll for migrating our Yahoo group, hopefully with all history attached, to groups.io, alternatively using a standard mailman mailing list.
Most of the members voted to use groups.io; Alan and Earl suggested we consider also attaching mailman to the groups.io group so that if we need to move off groups.io in the future as well, we will already have the mailing list history in a more open, decentralized platform.
Alan put out an offer for training for new site contributors. Paid members can contribute to the site, including writing blog posts, adding pages and media, and updating the calendar. Hello World!
